INFOCTESS DEPARTMENTAL WEEK 2025: A Celebration of Unity, Innovation, and Youth Power

On Monday, August 4th, 2025, UEW's campus will buzz with INFOCTESS DEPARTMENTAL WEEK. It's more than an event—it's a movement and a statement about technology and youth leadership in Ghana.

INFOCTESS!!! Reaching the World Through Technology

The Departmental Week, by INFOCTESS, is a showcase of young minds coming together. They aim to reach the world through technology. The theme calls for innovation, unity, and celebrating tech trailblazers.

A Week of Vibes, Unity, and Technology

The week starts with a grand photoshoot and opening ceremony at 4pm on Monday. It's a moment to capture the spirit of a generation. The week is filled with fun, learning, and community:

  • Tuesday: “Rep Your Jersey / FIFA / Jama Night” at the Forecourt, where students show off their team spirit and enjoy friendly competition.


  • Wednesday: “Seminar/Movie Night” at SLT8, combining knowledge sharing with entertainment.


  • Thursday: A triple treat at the Multipurpose Court—Cooking Competition, Rep Your School, and Health Screening—highlighting the importance of wellness and culinary creativity.


  • Friday: “Sports & Games” at Winnesec /Sports Collage Park, promoting teamwork and healthy rivalry.


  • Saturday: “Jamz” at Tempest Lounge, a night to unwind and celebrate achievements.


  • Sunday: The week concludes with a “Thanksgiving Service” at SLT8, reflecting on the journey and giving thanks for progress and unity.
