Breaking Barriers & Building Dreams: Girls in Tech Summit 2025 Is Here to Inspire

Something exciting is happening this August—and it’s all about empowering young girls to dream big in the world of technology.

On 13th August 2025, the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre at the University of Education, Winneba will come alive with the energy of over 20 Senior High Schools coming together for one purpose: the Girls in Tech Summit 2025.

Organized by the Department of ICT Education (INFOCTESS) and the Office of the WOCOM, in collaboration with Girl Power GH, this summit is all about preparing girls for the future—specifically, careers in technology, Web 3, and Artificial Intelligence.


Why This Summit Matters So Much

For far too long, the tech industry has been dominated by men. But things are changing—and this event is proof. The Girls in Tech Summit is creating a space where girls can see themselves as developers, engineers, innovators, and leaders in tech.

This year’s theme is bold and timely:
“Preparing girls for careers in technology, Web 3, and Artificial Intelligence.”
It’s not just about coding or sitting behind a screen. It’s about sparking confidence, curiosity, and creativity in a whole new generation of thinkers.
