Residents of Bawjiase Zongo Call for Urgent Action on Overflowing Public Toilet

Residents of Bawjiase Zongo in the Awutu Senya West District are appealing to the District Assembly and other relevant authorities to address a growing sanitation problem in their community.

According to the residents, a cluster of public toilets in the area is overflowing, creating a strong unpleasant smell and posing a potential health risk. They fear the situation could lead to a disease outbreak if it is not resolved quickly.

Residents also complain that despite paying a fee to use the facility, the operators fail to maintain it properly.

They are therefore calling on the Assembly to either relocate the facility or fix the problem immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
